Volga-Dnepr Group Dispels Misinformation: Ukranian Sanctions Not Applicable to any Group-related entity

In connection with Vladimir Zelensky, President of Ukraine, putting into effect the decision of National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated April 2, 2021 on imposition of sanctions on a number of companies, and incorrect information that those sanctions apply to Volga-Dnepr Group which appeared in various media, we inform you that:

The above-mentioned sanction restrictions have been imposed on “VOLGA-DNEPR MM XVI” LLC, Primary State Registration Number: 1167746124875, Tax Payer ID: 7716815864, located at 109 Building 1 Yaroslavskoye Shosse, Moscow, Russia 129337, which is clearly stated in the applicable Executive Order of the President of Ukraine.

This entity is NOT a part of Volga-Dnepr Group, it is NOT our partner, and its activity has NOTHING to do with Volga-Dnepr Group. Therefore, the sanctions imposed affect neither our Group, nor the companies it is composed of, including without limitation Volga-Dnepr Airlines LLC.

We strongly appeal to all media companies to diligently check all information and sources, and to keep in mind that publication of false news will not be tolerated due to possible negative impact on business. We hope that responsible media sources will take clear action to correct any misinformation that may have already been published.
