AirBridgeCargo reports 10% growth of ‘nose-cargo-door’ loaded shipments as it presents its new ‘abc XL’ livery 05/21/2019

AirBridgeCargo Airlines, one of the leaders in the provision of specialty services, continues its reinforcement of ‘abc XL’ product – dedicated solutions for oversized and heavy cargoes. The company has achieved gradual increase in volumes, which has reached around 3% growth YOY for the first 4 months of 2019 totaling to more than 11 thousand tonnes.

To further strengthen its positions at the market, as well as increase brand awareness, AirBridgeCargo has rolled out its first ‘abc XL’ aircraft livery, branding one of its iconic Boeing 747.

“For the first four months of 2019, we tipped over more than 10% increase in out-of-gauge cargoes being loaded through the swing-up nose which amounted to more than 2 thousand tonnes and are excited to have ‘abc XL’ branded freighter within our modern fleet to support our further growth. Boeing 747 freighter capabilities and efficiency coupled with nose cargo door loading feature ramps up the volume of respective shipments requested for transportation within our international network,” – highlighted Vasiliy Zhukov, Global Director, Heavy & Outsized Cargo at AirBridgeCargo Airlines.

The company has registered the highest upsurge of oversize and heavy volumes on trade lanes from Europe to North America and vice versa, with around two-fold increase for the first and more than 45% for the second. Much of this growth is attributed to the reinforcement of ‘abc XL’ dedicated product and international team, as well as the strengthening of three-party relations ‘carrier-freight forwarder-OEM’ to guarantee that all the requirements and conditions for safe and intact delivery are met.

‘abc XL’ freighter will complement ‘abc pharma’ freighters within ABC fleet and will be another eye-catching plane for all the spotters of the world, fascinated about the Queen of the Skies with a collection of various airlines’ liveries.
