New appointments in ATRAN Airlines

Evgeniy Borisov has been appointed General Director of ATRAN Airlines, a small freighter operations arm of Volga-Dnepr Group, from 9 January 2014.

The new appointment was made as part of Volga-Dnepr Group’s management succession program. Roman Krishtal, who had led ATRAN since 1986, will continue as Advisor to General Director.

Evgeniy Borisov has worked in Volga-Dnepr Group for over 20 years initially joining Volga-Dnepr Airlines as Yak-40 Captain. He successfully grew in pilot and manager positions in his professional career with the company to become the Operations Director of AirBridgeCargo Airlines in 2010. Before the new appointment, he held office of Deputy General Director with responsibility for Boeing aircraft operations at ATRAN Airlines from 2012.
