AN-124 Fleet Modernization Requirements Specification approved

Volga-Dnepr Group approved the technical requirements for in-depth aircraft modernization up to version AN-124-115M within the scope of AN-124-100 Aircraft Modernization Project. The Requirements Specification was distributed to tender participants as a Request for Quotation to perform Research and Development activities and the following upgrades of the fleet. Several Russian and foreign companies will submit feasibility assessments and quotations until the end of 2013 and the tender winner will be announced in early 2014. This is how Volga-Dnepr Group takes another big step to ensure compliance of its fleet with ICAO future mandates and improve the safety and efficiency of air cargo transportation.
