Volga-Dnepr brings celebration to Japan

ULYANOVSK, 12 November 2001 - Volga-Dnepr Airlines have successfully completed a series of flights to deliver this year's vintage of Beaujolais Nouveau from Basel and Lyon to Osaka and Tokyo. For the seventh consecutive year Volga-Dnepr's An-124-100 aircraft have carried more than two hundred thousand bottles of the young red wine from Europe to the Country of the Rising Sun.

The enjoyment of Beaujolais Nouveau has been cheerfully celebrated all over the world in the last half a century.

Volga Dnepr has already received a thank-you letter from the broker that ordered the airlift of the fragile cargo. Both the flight and 'loading crews' performance was graded as excellent.
