Volga-Dnepr Airlines appoints Jim Minty as marketing consultant

Ulyanovsk, Russia; Houston, USA; Stansted, UK (January 29, 2002). ? Volga-Dnepr Airlines, the world's largest operator of An-124-100 cargo aircraft, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Minty as a Marketing Consultant.

Minty's extensive experience and specialist knowledge in the outsize air cargo market strengthens Volga-Dnepr's international sales network, of which he will be a key member. Minty's invaluable expertise will further contribute to an ever-increasing share of the market for Volga-Dnepr Airlines.

Jim Minty has vast experience in the aerospace and air cargo industries..His military career as a pilot spanned 20 years before leaving the United States Air Force to join Boeing, initially in the Research and Development Department, before later transferring to the Quality Assurance Department as an Engineering Supervisor for Boeing's AOG travelling repair team. For the last seven years, Jim worked for Air Foyle, latterly as Director of Technical Services.

Jim is married to Coy Ann and lives in Seattle. A keen golfer with an 18 handicap, he also collects aviation-related first-day covers.
