Volga-Dnepr Airlines Offers an Invitation for a XXI Century Transport Aircraft International Contest

Volga-Dnepr Group is going to invite students and staff members of scientific and manufacturing enterprises connected with aviation industry to participate in Future Transport Aircraft of the XXI Century International Contest, which will be held during the period from September 2013 to September 2014. Following the Contest results the winners will receive monetary rewards, special gifts and have an opportunity to obtain proper references to join Volga-Dnepr Group whilst their Developments will be recognized as Graduation Project by their Universities.

The Contest’s practical objective is deemed to be the Development of XXI Century Transport Aircraft Concept, strategic goal being attract attention of younger generation and scientific specialists to research activities in aircraft engineering.

The Contest will be arranged in four stages: the start was given during the MAKS 2013 Moscow Air Show, then goes drafting and selection of viable projects, projects refining and finally assessment and evaluation, where the best promising projects will be determined. A dedicated committee comprising industry experts will choose the winners.

The Contest is open both for individual and team-worked projects. No restrictions regarding age and/or numbers of participants.
