Volga-Dnepr Gulf Completes First A-Check In Sharjah on a Boeing 737CLVolga-Dnepr Gulf, Volga-Dnepr Technics’ subgroup branch in the Middle East, has successfully performed its first A-check on a Boeing 737-400 for the Slovenian airline SolinAir.
The work was completed in Volga-Dnepr Gulf’s MRO hangar at Sharjah airport. In addition, the Volga-Dnepr maintenance team carried out additional works, replacing some components and aircraft washing.

AirBridgeCargo Airlines on Course for Successful 2014 YearAirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC), part of Volga-Dnepr Group, is on course for another year of record growth, reinforcing its position as one of the world’s fastest-growing all-cargo airlines.
In the first nine months of 2014, ABC carried 290,735 tons, a 14% increase over the same period last year. The airline’s average load factor for the nine months ended 30 September was 71%, far exceeding the industry average of around 45%.

The aircraft will shortly proceed with the mission enroute Toulouse – Sheremetyevo - Baikonur.

Volga-Dnepr Delivers Helicopters for Emergency UN Mission to Fight EbolaOn October 14, Volga-Dnepr Airlines transported Mi-8 helicopters for the latest United Nations (UN) emergency health mission in response to the Ebola virus outbreak. The flight was operated using one of Volga-Dnepr’s An-124 ‘Ruslan’ freighters from Moscow, Russia, to Freetown, Sierra Leone.
