Our mission:
We provide insurance coverage for Volga-Dnepr Group from external threats and risks which are out of Volga-Dnepr’s control and guarantee stability and confidence in future for the Group’s personnel.
NIC Insurance Company was founded in 1995 as a supporting business for companies within Volga-Dnepr Group, with the whole fleet, property, and personnel of the Group being covered by insurance of NIC Insurance Company.
Under renewal of the contact for the Group’s fleet insurance in 2019, NIC Insurance Company have held a series of negotiations with Willis broker and other major market players. As a result the company has taken the decision to cooperate with New Leader for 'Fully comprehensive insurance + warranty liability’ as this contact meets the current requirements of the Group. Under the toughest market situation NIC Insurance Company managed to keep the rates on the level of the world's air cargo industry.
Throughout the years of its work NIC Insurance Company has gained unique expertise and experience in providing insurance from major aviation risks and has built effective partnerships in the field of reassurance with the leading international insurance companies, Aspen Insurance, Allianz, Liberty, SCOR UK Company, TALBOT, XL, Lloyd’s syndicates and others.
With the aim to get more attractive rates under the current market changes and expansion of the Group’s network, NIC is searching for additional opportunities to increase available capacity of alternative markets.
NIC is on the verge of transformation process from the captive insurance company, dealing mostly with neutralization of insured events’ consequences, into insurance company, providing comprehensive risks management for the Group and its companies.
Alongside expansion of its competencies, NIC is planning to introduce risk management system. The Company is set to guarantee its customers’ success and competitive growth, supported by the process of taking and realization of managerial decisions, aimed at decline of adverse effect occurrence and minimization of possible losses.

Russian Association of Aviation and Space Insurers;
Centre for cluster development of Ulyanovsk region.
The Company has no affiliates or representative offices and is based in Ulyanovsk.
