Vice President, Volga-Dnepr Group of Companies resposible for Scheduled Cargo Operations

Stan Wraight has been promoted to the post Vice-President of the Volga-Dnepr Group of Companies, responsible for AirBridge Cargo (ABC), Volga-Dnepr Group’s scheduled cargo airline, from the position of Managing Director of AirBridge Cargo.

In May 2004, Stan Wraight was responsible for successfully launching AirBridge Cargo, Russia’s first scheduled cargo airline, onto the worldwide market, using Boeing 747 all-cargo aircraft. AirBridge Cargo forms a core part of Volga-Dnepr Group’s corporate development strategy. In his new role as Vice-President of Volga-Dnepr Group, Stan Wraight will continue to be responsible for the long-term future of AirBridge Cargo and its network and fleet expansion, in addition to seeking synergy between the two core businesses of the group.

Stan Wraight was recruited by the Group for his expertise in the scheduled airline cargo sector and experience in international aviation. In a career spanning more than 30 years, Wraight previously held senior executive posts with Atlas Air and KLM Cargo in North America, Asia and Europe

Mr. Wraight holds a Certificate in Executive Development and Advanced Management from McGill University. Mr. Wraight also has extensive internal and external training from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Management Programs.
