Vladimir Zubkov
Vladimir worked in ICAO from 1985. He headed the Air Transport Bureau responsible for economic policy development, regulation, statistics, interaction with airlines, airports, and various departments. Later, as Director for Planning and Global Coordination, he was in charge of the ICAO standards and policies' introduction in regions across the world through the ICAO network (Bangkok, Cairo, Dakar, Nairobi, Paris, Mexico, Lima), including development and execution of business plans in the ICAO regional offices and departments in Montreal.
Mr. Zubkov started his career in Aeroflot as Head of Operations Division in Sheremetyevo Airport, then got employed as Head of Commercial Department of Aeroflot, and later as Aeroflot's Representative in Sweden and General Representative in Denmark and UK. He proceeded then as Deputy Commercial Director of Aeroflot and then took position of Head of International Settlements Center of Aeroflot. Mr. Zubkov is a graduate of Civil Aviation Academy.
Mr. Vladimir Zubkov joined the Volga-Dnepr Group in August 2008 as Vice President for Relations with International Organizations. Since November 2008 he was combining the duties of Vice President of the Group with those of Commercial Director of AirBridgeCargo Airlines.
Commencing December 1, 2009 Mr. Vladimir D. Zubkov is appointed to the position of Vice President of the Group for External Relations.
