Sergey Dyachkov

Born on May 26, 1959 in Ulyanovsk.

In 1976 got his first employment as a construction electrician at Ulyanovsk Instrument Plant. In 1983 graduated from Kuibyshev Aviation Institute named after Korolev with major in “aircraft manufacture” and qualification of “mechanic engineer”.

Upon graduation from the university, from 1983 till 1990, he went on with his career at Ulyanovsk Aviation Industrial Complex “Aviastar” to take positions of production supervisor, senior supervisor, deputy shop manager on final assembly. From 1990 till 1992 Sergey was Operations Manager of “Electromash” (Ulyanovsk). From 1992-1993 worked at Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant named after Lenin (UAZ).

In 1993 Sergey Dyachkov joined Volga-Dnepr Airlines as Head of AN-124-100 Heavy Maintenance. Then took positions of Leading Engineer of Aircraft and Engines’ Heavy Maintenance; Senior Engineer of AN-124-100; Head of Aviation Engineering Service. In 2005 was appointed First Deputy General Director on Operations. During 2007-2009 he held the position of Volga-Dnepr Airlines LLC General Director.

Commencing February 2009, Mr. Sergey Dyachkov is Executive Senior Vice President of Volga-Dnepr Airlines LLC.
