Valery Gabriel

Born on March 1, 1956.

In 1979 graduated from Kharkov Aviation Institute with major in “aircraft manufacture”. In 1979-1992 worked at Ulyanovsk Aviation Industrial Complex “Aviastar” having passed the way from an engineer up to the assembly shop manager. From 1992 till 1994 occupied position of Commercial Director of JSC “Middle Volga Industrial Company” (Ulyanovsk).

In 1994 Valery joined Volga-Dnepr Airlines as Head of Target Management Department. In 1996 became airline’s Deputy Commercial Director, in 1998 was appointed Commercial Director of “Volga-Dnepr Airlines”.

Through Mr.Gabriel’s endeavors Volga-Dnepr has been operating successfully abroad thus making the Group an absolute leader on the world market of unique and oversize cargo air transportation. Under his skillful management there were implemented such projects as Ruslan International & Ruslan SALIS focused on further promotion of global air cargo services on unique AN-124-100 “Ruslan” aircraft. Since 2006 Valery Gabriel has been the Head of both entities.

Since August 2008 – CEO, Volga-Dnepr Airlines.
