Volga-Dnepr Airlines have been acknowledged as the Best Heavy Lift Air Cargo Carrier of the Year during 11th BHP 2019 02/05/2019

January, 31 – Volga-Dnepr Airlines, the leader in air freight transportation of oversized and super heavy cargoes, has been awarded a prize during the 11th BHP 2019 – an International Conference & Awards, which this year was exclusively dedicated to Break Bulk, HeavyLift & Project Forwarding in South Asia. The company was named the winner in the category ‘Heavy Lift Air Cargo Carrier of the Year’.

The event, which took place in Mumbai, India, has brought together the leading companies, top speakers and delegates and served as an excellent networking platform for those interested in region’s development, prospects and challenges the companies need to overcome, both on local and global levels.

The nominees are judged on the whole spectrum of factors, including volumes handled, operational performance, efficiency parameters, the variety of cargo handled, customer satisfaction and others, with the winners to be named during BHP annual award ceremony. The jury included seven industry stalwarts, who debated and arrived at a consensus on the winners after a whole day’s closed-door session.

Volga-Dnepr has also been privileged to contribute at the panel discussion ‘Indian Market outlook for project cargo by air’ during which Lloyd Dsouza, Regional Business Development Manager at Volga-Dnepr Group has shared the company’s view on the air cargo market growth, conditions, and perspectives.
