Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow inks a deal with PJSC Aeroflot for expansion of MRO services

Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow (VDTM), part of Volga-Dnepr Group, and PJSC Aeroflot have signed the amendment to the original agreement, which has been in force since 2013, for expansion of serviced airplanes Boeing 737NG up to 41, increasing initial number of aircraft by 11.

VDTM provides line maintenance services for Aeroflot’s fleet in Sheremetyevo international airport. Additionally, the company performs structural repair of aircraft framework and non-destructive testing, as well as line maintenance of Aeroflot’s fleet at the line MRO base in Pashkovsky airport in Krasnodar, Russia.

During 2018 FIFA World Cup from June, 14 till July, 15 VDTM will guarantee maintenance support for Aeroflot airlines in the airports of Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, and Nizhny Novgorod in Russia.

We are aimed at further development of our effective cooperation, up-leveling our quality and expanding the scope of MRO services” – highlighted Pavel Tereschenkov, General Director of ‘Volga-Dnepr technics Moscow’.

‘Volga-Dnepr Technics’ is the provider of maintenance and repair (MRO) services for both Russia- and foreign-built aircraft. This business was established in 2008 at the premises of existing and new MRO bases to ensure centralization and coordination of maintenance operations by the Group and improve service quality. On the territory of the Russian Federation ‘Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow’ operates in the three cities – Moscow (Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo), in Krasnoyarsk (Emelyanovo), and in Krasnodar (Pashkovsky). All stations are certified MRO bases, with the services provided for Boeing 747, Boeing 737, Airbus A320, and Sukhoi Super Jet. New line maintenance bases in Vladivostok (Russia) and Liege (Belgium) are expected to be launched in the nearest future. VDTM has recently introduced interior and cargo equipment services, with the intention to further improve this part of work scope. Maximum flexibility, a wide range of services, automation of operations and extensive network of maintenance bases make Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow an attractive partner for Russian and international companies.
