Volga-Dnepr Delivers Tourist Baggage from Egypt

Volga-Dnepr Airlines participates in tourist baggage delivery from resorts in Egypt.

On November 9th, 2015 at 11.26 (Moscow time), Volga-Dnepr’s IL-76ТD-90VD aircraft arrived at Vnukovo from Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt delivering 18 tons of tourist baggage. In the nearest time, the next VDA AN-124-100 flight will depart from Hurghada with 80 tons baggage onboard. Both flights are performed for Rosaviatsia.

Russian tourists’ baggage pieces have been subjected to heightened controls at airports in Egypt with the use of special scanning equipment and sniffer dogs, and then brought into “sterile” area, followed by loading onto Russian aircraft.
