Volga-Dnepr becomes sponsor of Advanced International Networks

Volga-Dnepr becomes sponsor of Advanced International Networks 02/26/2015

Volga-Dnepr Group has become a corporate sponsorship partner of Advanced International Networks Limited (AIN) for 2015 to increase its engagement with leading independent freight forwarders and project logistics professionals around the world.

The agreement sees Volga-Dnepr supporting all three of AIN’s logistics networks: AerOceaNetwork (AON) for commercial cargo, XLProjects Network (XLP) for project cargo and All-in-One Logistics Net-work (AiO) for perishables, exhibitions and removals as well as project and commercial cargo.

Alan Baldwin of Volga-Dnepr said: “This commitment to AIN will strengthen our working relationships with their global network of highly respected project cargo professionals and independent freight forwarders. We want to share our own knowledge and expertise and also expand our market awareness with member partners by working closely together to provide a comprehensive choice of best-in-class transport and logistics solutions. This will range from air charter, breakbulk chartering, specialty handling, road transportation, stevedoring, vessel and barge operations. XLProject members, for example, are uniquely qualified in heavylift handling and global transportation in their home markets, whether by ocean, air or overland and this fits with the development of Volga-Dnepr’s own door-to-door logistics services using all modes of transportation.”

“We are extremely happy to have Volga-Dnepr onboard,” said Gary Dale Cearley, Managing Director of AIN, who added: “This is a win/win for all parties. It provides Volga-Dnepr with direct access to our members all over the world through our events, publications and other logistics network functions. At the same time, it also means our member partners have the opportunity to meet and work more closely with Volga-Dnepr to bring more benefits to their own customers.”

XLProjects partners already serve the same major industry sectors as Volga-Dnepr, such as Oil & Gas, Heavy industry, Aerospace, Military, Energy, Automotive, Defence and Marine. AON’s membership also provides the opportunity to strengthen the Group’s ties with independent specialists in air and ocean forwarding.

All AIN partners will have access to Volga-Dnepr Group’s 25 years of knowledge and expertise in managing and supporting major logistics projects from inception to completion. They will also receive the latest information on the Group’s empty aircraft legs to help AIN members offer the most reliable and cost efficient solutions to their customers.

Steve Cross, AIN Business Manager and Business Development Manager for XLProjects, said: “The Volga-Dnepr relationship is very important to us. They can really help our members with their air charter and logistics expertise. There are obvious project cargo needs that Volga-Dnepr is very well known for, but neither Volga-Dnepr nor AIN are restricted to only projects. We have sister networks who use air services for commercial cargo and perishables as well and these are areas Volga-Dnepr Group also has great expertise in through its scheduled cargo carrier, AirBridgeCargo Airlines. The growth in our network means there will be more opportunities for cooperation between our networks and Volga-Dnepr as time goes on. We’d be hard pressed to find a better partner anywhere. I, for one, am glad to see them with us.”
