Alexander Sidorin awarded for contribution to aviation industry and for development of Ulyanovsk Region

Photo of Alexander Sidorin, Vice-President, Operations, Volga-Dnepr Airlines, has been put on a display among The Best Citizens of Ulyanovsk Region due to his high achievements in 2014, contribution to regional development, for his dedicated work and outstanding professional skills.

January 19, Sergey Morozov, the Governor of Ulyanovsk Region, honored Alexander Sidorin with Award Certificate during the official ceremony, devoted to the Day of Simbirsk Region and 72th Anniversary of the Region's foundation.

Alexander Sidorin has 40 years of work experience in aviation industry, he joined Volga-Dnepr Airlines 23 years ago. Alexander was awarded with honorary titles of Honoured Transport Worker of Ulyanovsk Region and Distinguished Expert of Air Transport Industry”. He was also 3 times awarded with the Honorary Certificate by the governor of Ulyanovsk Region. 19 December 2010 Alexander was granted the Order of Merit for the Motherland Class II according to Decree of the President of the Russian Federation.
