Volga-Dnepr is 24

Today, August 22nd, Volga-Dnepr-Group is celebrating its 24th birthday anniversary.

The company’s history was launched in 1990 with the establishment of the “parent” entity, Volga-Dnepr Airlines in Ulyanovsk, the site of serial production of Antonov AN-124 Ruslan freighter airplanes.

In the recent years, Volga-Dnepr has grown into an international Group of Companies with 3.5 thousand personnel. To date, VD Group includes three leading Russia-based cargo airlines: Volga-Dnepr, a charter operator, AirBridgeCargo, a scheduled operator, both being multiple winners of Wings of Russia Award, and Atran Airlines the history of which goes back to 1942, aircraft maintenance service provider Volga-Dnepr Technics, Volga-Trucks haulier, NIC insurance company, Corporate University training facility and Istochnik Private School. For 24 years, Volga-Dnepr community has been following key principles including high professionalism and customer-orientation, safety and care of the future, finance stability, transparency and leadership.
