Volga-Dnepr Delivered Special Equipment for Gas Compressor Station Refurbishing

Volga-Dnepr Airlines’ IL-76TD-90VD freighter delivered 40 tons of industrial equipment from Tokyo, Japan to Anapa, Russia for Krasnodarskaya Gas Compressor Station Refurbishing Project under contract with CJSC Iskra-Avigaz.

To load gas compressor and related equipment on board the aircraft, Volga-Dnepr’s engineers used three-ton tooling and arranged for special cranes and trailers at airports of departure and destination. During the intermediate stop in Vladivostok, Russia Volga-Dnepr provided the customer with necessary support and consultations regarding customs procedures and setting up a temporary customs controlled area.
