VOLGA-DNEPR AIRLINES AT THE TIACA AIR CARGO FORUM

Hong Kong: The Volga-Dnepr Group took part in The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) Air Cargo Forum 2002 in Hong Kong from September 17 to 20.

With more than 300 companies participating in the forum and representatives of the same number of companies visited the exhibition. This 21st biannual forum was the largest event in TIACA's 42-year history.

Larry Coyne, TIACA president, said: "An event of such scale is the first in the air cargo industry's history. It is symbolic that this is the only event which the industry is not ready to skip, despite the last year and a half being difficult and unpredictable".

Hong Kong, was selected as this year's venue both for its importance as a world cargo hub and increasing interest in developing business in China. For Volga-Dnepr, the Air Cargo Forum is one of the most important exhibitions, bringing together forwarders, brokers, airports, handling companies and other participants in the air cargo industry.

Volga-Dnepr's delegation of managers from the United Kingdom, Russia, China reflected the airline's global activities and defines Volga-Dnepr as an international team. Volga-Dnepr's was one of the most visited stands in the exhibition, with over 400 meetings conducted during the forum. Volga-Dnepr also attracted media attention as one of the leading newsmakers on the market.
