Ones again Volga-Dnepr becomes Wings of Russia award winner

Volga-Dnepr Group has obtained Wings of Russia award in nomination «Airline of the year – cargo carrier on internal and international routes». It was announced in the course of 10th anniversary Wings of Russia ceremony which took place on April 3, 2007 at Moscow International House Of Music. This is fifth Volga-Dnepr Group’s Wings Of Russia award.

National aviation Wings of Russia award is bestowed annually. This year the best representatives of Russian aviation industry fought to win in 9 nominations. The winners were selected through secret voting in Award Social Council that incorporates more than 90 experts in civil aviation: authorities, state and private companies, media. The jury estimates not merely operation figures but also promotion activities, safety level and passenger-friendliness.

Wings of Russia awarding signifies real recognition of the company in society and professional environment. The ceremony organizers expressed confidence that dynamics of Volga-Dnepr development would enable it to prove in practice honorable title of the winner and keep on strengthening company’s positions in local and international air cargo markets.
