Volga-Dnepr Group and Krasnoyarsk authorities will cooperate in establishing international air hub

The cooperation agreement was executed between Volga-Dnepr Group and Administration of Krasnoyarsk Territory at the XII Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Volga-Dnepr Group and Krasnoyarsk Authorities reached agreement on cooperation in establishment and development of an international multimodal hub to be based on “Krasnoyarsk” and “Cheremshanka” airports. Under this project, Volga-Dnepr intends to construct a complex comprising a cargo terminal and aircraft maintenance facilities.

“Execution of the cooperation agreement with Administration of Krasnoyarsk Territory is another logical step in Volga-Dnepr’s strategy to open up new opportunities for its business expansion on the attractive markets in order to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. We are confident that the new Krasnoyarsk hub will improve Volga-Dnepr’s competitive advantage in the strategic Europe–Asia market,” said Alexey Isaikin, President of Volga-Dnepr Group.
