Volga-Dnepr Group nominated for People Investor 2008 Award

November 27, 2008 Izvestia Publishing House arranged the press conference to announce the nominees for business award People Investor 2008: HR-investing companies.

The final stage of Award selection will be held at Krasnaya Presnya Exhibition Center on December 17. Volga-Dnepr Group alongside with 9 other companies will run for Service Provider Grand Prix as service providers, logistics and IT companies. The rivals of Volga-Dnepr are Transaero, IBS, Microsoft Russia etc. The winner will be defined by a panel of judges, which consists of top Russian and foreign managers.

The list of nominees was selected from over 100 Russian major companies in accordance with assessment results. There were three factors of business analysis: HR policy, relations with business environment (customers, partners) and social development.

People Investor 2008 is a comprehensive Russian economic project of strategic funding of HR and management resources. It is oriented on research, discussion boards and awards. The project objective includes strategic and efficient social investments and motivational and reputational aspects of socially-oriented companies.

The project mission is to assist civil society development in Russia on behalf of all economic entities, including business players, for the welfare of people. The project was initiated and arranged by the Russian Managers Association.
