Volga-Dnepr shipped over 100 tons of mining equipment on board of AN-124-100 aircraft

Russian broker Horizon LLC on behalf of Stroymehanoservis company ordered the transportation of mining equipment (over 100 tons in total) by VDA from Moscow to Magadan (Russia) using the capabilities of AN-124-100 freighter.

It was exciting to see a self-propelled drill machine Bauer BG 28 climbing the AN-124 ramp to reach aircraft cargo hold. Also Antonov 124 freighter transported other auxiliary equipment for machine’s continuous uninterrupted performance at the production field.

The customer representatives expressed their gratitude to Volga-Dnepr Airlines’ technical experts who flawlessly prepared the transportation, including flight planning and operational support, and to AN-124-100 flight crew who demonstrated outstanding professional attitude.
