Volga-Dnepr Wins Two Wings of Russia National Awards
Volga-Dnepr Group was announced the winner in two categories of Wings of Russia National Aviation Award 2012 at the award ceremony held in Moscow on 8 April 2013.
Volga-Dnepr Group received an award for the Best Business Project in Russian Civil Aviation. Volga-Dnepr Airlines was named the Airline of the Year — Cargo Carrier on Domestic and International Routes for the seventh time, leaving behind another six nominees.
“It is a special honor for Volga-Dnepr team to be recognized twice by Wings of Russia for 2012. It wasn’t an easy year for airline business. We have used maximum efforts to retain the leading positions,” said Valery Gabriel, Group Vice President.
