VOLGA-DNEPR AIRLINES DELIVERS 90 TONS OF OIL AND GAS EQUIPMENT FOR PACIFIC AIRLIFT

Volga-Dnepr Airlines has delivered more than 90 tons of oil and gas equipment from Singapore to Turkmenistan onboard one of it AN-124-100 freighters.

The cargo consisted of several parts including a single piece weighing some 40 tons. To displace the weight of the load along the aircraft’s cargo hold, Volga-Dnepr used a special loading device.

The oil and gas equipment was transported on behalf of the global air charter broker, Pacific Airlift. Volga-Dnepr and Pacific Airlift have cooperated on such complex projects for the transportation of outsize and heavyweight air cargo for more than 10 years. Since 2000, Pacific Airlift has also acted as the airline’s general sales agent in Singapore.
