Scheduled russian air freight operator AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has reported a 55 percent increase in year-on-year sales for the first 11 months of 2008 with revenues of US$423 million being realised.

For the January – November period, ABC said it achieved a 31 increase in its traffic, with 121,000 tons of cargo being carried on its fleet of B747 freighters.

The airline said it achieved “particularly strong growth” in October and November despite “the challenging global economic conditions”, with more than 24,000 tons of cargo carried in the two-month period, a rise of 11 percent over the same two months in 2007.

An ABC statement said that by combining a good quality of service and offering competitive products, the airline is now expanding its routу network and adding frequencies to meet the demands of its customers.
