ABC supplements existing business from Frankfurt and Amsterdam

AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) is "developing routes into Central Asia to add to our existing business into Moscow and domestic Russia", says Ludwig Hamburger, regional director Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) at the Volga-Dnepr Group carrier.

Adding to regular flights on ABC's Eurasian airbridge, he noted: "This remains the key focus of EMEA region exports, of which Frankfurt and Amsterdam are the key hubs." And, of Frankfurt-Main International airport, one of Europe's busiest air cargo hubs. Hamburger observed: "For ABC the destination plays a major role in our sched¬uled network, together with Amsterdam Schiphol. It is our European headquarters.

"With 14 scheduled flights to and from Frankfurt, the airline has become one of the largest cargo players there." Looking forward, he concluded: "The airport will also play an important role for ABC activities in the future."
